Troy Borough Residents,
We recently discovered the Water/Sewer bills for November/December contained computer errors for a high percentage of customers. PLEASE disregard this bill. We are currently working with the software company to find and correct the problem. During this transition there will be no penalties. The Borough is also in the process of transitioning from this old software to a new software program. We appreciate your patience during this process.
Thanks,
Troy Boro Hall
Attention Troy Borough residents: See attached notice for lead exceedance public notice information
Additional info can be found at the DEP website for steps you can take to reduce your exposure to lead in your water.
Troy Borough uses the Bradford County CodeRED telephone alert system for emergency and general notifications. When the Borough has an announcement that must be communicated to residents, it will be generated through the Bradford County Emergency System. Using this system will allow us to notify the entire community when needed, or just the residents in an affected area, thereby, not unnecessarily alarming or confusing others. If you are not registered to receive Code Red notifications, you may do so by following these easy steps:
- Call the Emergency Center at 570-265-5022 and ask to have your phone registered.
OR
- Go to https://public.coderedweb.com/CNE/en-US/E05F45D0FC38
This service is provided by the county and is also used to advise of severe weather, evacuations and other important notices.
** Landlords, please notify your tenants to register as well so all residents may receive notifications!
